11. What word occurs in the very center of the Bible?

This is somewhat trickey.  First we need to determine what version of the Bible.  For this we will use the King James Version.  The KJV contains 1189 chapters.  This means the center chapter of the Bible is chapter 595 - 594 chapters before and after this chapter.  The 595th chapter of the Bible is Psalm 117.  However, as far as verses are concerned there are 31,174 verses.  Because this is an even number there is no one center verse of the Bible.  The center verse would be between 15,587 and 15,588 which fall within Psalm 118.  Two verses would be the center of the Bible or Psalm 118:8-9 which reads "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.  It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes."  These verses contain 28 words so the center word of the Bible would be the 14th word making the word "man" the center word of the King James Bible.  As you can see the answer to this question was more complicated than what it first seemed.
