BRINGING GOOD NEWS TO OUR SENIOR POPULATION
In Mark’s gospel {Mark 16:15} Jesus exhorts his disciples to: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Those of us who heard the call of the LORD on our hearts to go and bring the good news of hope, forgiveness and salvation to the residents in nursing homes, assisted living, and rehabilitation centers truly count it all joy to be able to minister God’s love to our senior population!

The Lord had raised up a team of volunteers gifted in the following areas of ministry:

• Personal friendship and encouragement
• Worshiping and praising the Lord together
• Praying with residents
• Teaching the Word of God

Jesus said in John 13:34,35, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
